How Two-Factor Authentication Works on jurutogel Mobile
Two-factor authentication requires two pieces of information to log in: something you know (your password) and something you have (your phone). On jurutogel, the second factor is a code sent via SMS or generated by an authenticator app. After you enter your password, the platform either sends an SMS code to your registered phone number or displays a prompt to enter a code from your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Authy).
The code is valid for a set time window—typically subject to verification. If you do not enter it within that window, you must request a new code. This time limit reduces the window for an attacker to intercept or guess the code. On Android and iOS browsers, the login flow is the same: password first, then the 2FA code.
SMS vs. Authenticator Apps
SMS-based 2FA sends a code via text message to your phone. This method requires no extra app installation and works on any device with cellular or internet access. The downside is that SMS can be intercepted in rare circumstances.
Authenticator apps generate codes on your phone without sending anything over the network. Apps like Google Authenticator or Authy create time-based codes that change every 30 seconds. This method is more secure but requires you to set up the app and keep your phone nearby during login. jurutogel supports both methods; you choose during account setup.
Enabling Two-Factor Authentication on Your Account
Two-factor authentication is optional on jurutogel. You enable it in your account settings under Security or Privacy. The platform walks you through a setup wizard: first, it confirms your password. Then, if you choose SMS, it sends a test code to verify your phone number. If you choose an authenticator app, we display a QR code that you scan with the app, and the app begins generating codes immediately.
After setup, we recommend saving backup codes—typically 8 to 10 single-use codes that you can use if you lose your phone or forget your authenticator app. Store these codes in a secure location (a password manager, a locked document, or written down and kept safe). If you use a backup code, it becomes invalid, so treat it as a last resort.
- Setup time
- Enabling 2FA takes subject to verification and requires you to verify your phone or scan a QR code.
- Code validity
- SMS codes are valid for subject to verification; authenticator codes are valid for the 30-second window they are displayed.
- Backup codes
- Save these single-use codes in case you lose access to your phone or authenticator app.
- Phone change
- If you get a new phone, disable 2FA on your old device and re-enable it with your new phone number or app.
Two-Factor Authentication and Account Recovery
If you forget your password, jurutogel's password-reset process sends a link to your registered email. After you click the link and create a new password, you can log in using that new password and your 2FA code (if enabled). The recovery process does not require you to know your old password, but it does require access to your email account.
If you lose your phone or can no longer access your authenticator app, you have several options. If you saved backup codes, you can use one to log in, then disable and re-enable 2FA with a new phone or app. If you do not have backup codes, contact jurutogel customer support via email, and our team will verify your identity using your account details and send instructions to recover access. This verification process may take one business day.

Two-factor authentication protects your sportsbook, live casino, and slots access.
Once logged in with 2FA, you can access all jurutogel services—Liga 1 sportsbook, live dealer tables, slots, and esports markets—without re-entering the code. The authentication applies at login only, not at every page or bet.
Two-Factor Authentication and Payment Security
Enabling 2FA on your jurutogel account strengthens security during deposit and withdrawal flows. When you deposit via DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, or bank transfer, you log in to confirm the transaction. With 2FA enabled, an attacker cannot access your account to change your registered payment method or request unauthorised withdrawals without the second factor.
Our payment processing also uses its own security measures—encrypted connections, confirmation screens, and fraud detection. However, 2FA adds an extra barrier at the account level, so if your password is compromised (through phishing, malware, or data breach), your account remains locked until the attacker provides the 2FA code.
We recommend enabling 2FA if you manage significant account balances or use shared devices (phones or computers). Even if someone borrows your phone momentarily, they cannot log into your jurutogel account without the SMS code or authenticator app code.

Disabling or Changing Two-Factor Authentication
You can disable 2FA anytime from your security settings. The platform asks for your password to confirm the change, preventing someone from disabling it without your knowledge. After you disable 2FA, your next login requires only your email and password—the code prompt no longer appears.
If you want to switch from SMS to an authenticator app (or vice versa), disable the current method and re-enable it with the new method. This process takes subject to verification. You do not need to contact support unless you have lost access to both your phone and your backup codes.
During holidays such as Idul Fitri or Idul Adha, when account activity may change or you may use different devices, consider reviewing your 2FA setup. If you are abroad or using a new phone temporarily, you might disable 2FA for convenience—just remember to re-enable it when you return to your usual device.
